XPO Logistics Inc. has agreed to buy France’s Norbert Dentressangle SA for $3.53 billion, including debt, in a deal it says will make it one of the top 10 logistics company in the world, Reuters reported. XPO’s shares rose 12 percent on the news. The deal will give XPO access to Europe’s largest fleet network and push the company’s annual revenue to about $8.5 billion, XPO said. Norbert Dentressangle SA is the parent company of Jacobson Cos., which operates in Iowa.
