The YMCA of Greater Des Moines is conducting a community needs assessment as part of its strategic planning process and is inviting everyone in the region to share their feedback. The survey covers a wide variety of issues and needs facing the Des Moines communities, including how well needs are being met and what the priorities should be going forward. The Google survey, which is anonymous and takes about five minutes to complete, is available here. The survey closes May 2. YMCA CEO Cameron Nicholson also wrote a blog post for the Greater Des Moines Partnership that provides an update about the YMCA and explains why the community needs assessment is an important part of the YMCA’s mission and vision for the future.
