Liao Zhigang, dean of the Stilwell International School and associate professor of intellectual property law at the Southwest University of Political Science and Law, will lecture on the subject of Chinese intellectual property law during an April 4 visit to Drake University. The free event, which is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. in Cartwright Hall at Drake University Law School, will include an overview of patent law, copyright law and trademark law in the People’s Republic of China, and an examination of amendments to those laws and other regulations.
