Zimmerman joins Two Rivers Bank & Trust as president and CEO

158 wordsAll Latest News, Banking and Finance, On the MoveTwo Rivers Bank & Trust announced that its board of directors has appointed Shane Zimmerman as the bank’s new president and CEO, effective Oct. 19. Zimmerman will succeed Matt Shinn, who departs after a 21-year career with the organization to serve as the new director of City Hope, an outreach service affiliated with Harmony Bible Church in Burlington. For the past seven years, Zimmerman was senior vice president, area business manager and commercial banking leader for Wells Fargo in Iowa. He has more than 25 years of banking experience, with focused expertise in commercial banking and business development. A graduate of the University of Northern Iowa, Zimmerman has an MBA from Drake University. “We are excited to have Shane join our team as we continue building relationships in the communities we serve,” Two Rivers officials said on the bank’s Facebook page. Based in Burlington, Two Rivers’ branches operate in 11 Iowa cities, including Des Moines, Ankeny and West Des Moines.
